DOMAINE COLL DE ROUSSE
Jean-Pierre and Arnaud Boussuges (father and son) have been winegrowers in the village of the witches since 1998, on a soil of clayey hills among olive trees and almond trees. Concerned about the land and life, they have adhered to the High Environmental Value label to manage their 25ha vineyard. A reference to the family, the labels bear the names of the grandchildren. Their Muscat de Rivesaltes received a favourite from the Hachette guide in 2018 but our favourite is the Côtes du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres in red. Its notes of morello cherry and vanilla are to burst! The juices are straight, very round and also very affordable. This is a small family estate where simplicity and know-how are essential. A very friendly winegrower family as we like them.
