CAVE VITICOLE DE BRANCEILLES
In the th century, vines were cultivated in Branceilles. His wine won a bronze medal at the World Exposition in Paris in 1878. Largely destroyed by powdery mildew and phylloxera, its vineyard, partially replaced by truffle oak plantations and walnut trees, will put a century to "relive", thanks to the audacity and passion of 8 farmers. Country wine, assembly of Cabernet, Gamay and Merlot grape Varieties, its vineyard now covers 30 ha, on slopes ideally exposed around Branceilles. It gives three wines under the name "Thousand and a stone - wine from the Country of Corrèze": a rosé, a red high in tanks and a red in oak barrels. It is a fruity wine, with woody notes when it has grown in oak barrels. Rosé, it retains all its early aromas; red he has a subtle fragrance of ripe. The wine-growers'cellar houses the wine-making, rearing, packaging and sales facilities.
