LA FILLE DU PÊCHEUR
Seasonal cuisine in a fishmonger's with a very good quality-price ratio in Brive-la-Gaillarde.
Formerly the Lamparo, this fish shop has changed owners. The stall is still just as attractive with its shiny fish, oysters, prawns and other bouchot mussels. Here the fish and wild and farmed salmon are of the highest quality. At the helm is the young Doris, daughter of the Pêcheur, precisely of the Pêcheur sétois, another fish shop in Brive, avenue Ribot. At least, it is her grandfather who was a fisherman. Her father came to Brive to do the market before he was established. So Doris has been in the fish business since she was a little girl. Wild and angling fish, Breton lobster and other shellfish will be served to you depending on the season. Excellent value for money. An address where good humour is de rigueur and professionalism is a legacy.
