LES ORCHESTRADES UNIVERSELLES

The Universal Orchestrades are a musical meeting of French and foreign youth orchestras. Each year, they gather, in August in Brive-la-Gaillarde, approximately 500 musicians from 10 to 25 years from all over the world. In recent years, this event also welcomes individual individuals: young musicians not belonging to a trained orchestra can participate in the great cultural and musical experience of the Orchestrades. Every day, musicians give free concerts in large historic places in Brive, in the streets and in churches in the surrounding communes. The final pay concert brings together all the participating musicians in the Espace des Trois Provinces.
