THE TREILHARD HOUSE
Visit of the Treilhard house, one of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in the city of Brive-la-Gaillarde
One of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in the city. In its reentrant corner, this building has a beautiful polygonal tower with a pepperpot turret. The entrance is decorated with carved mouldings and pediments. It was in this house that the jurisconsult Treilhard was born, who was one of the drafters of the Civil Code after having been a member of the Convention, then of the Directory, the doctor-philosopher Cabanis, the naturalist Latreille, the illustrious Maréchal Brune, and the Abbot Féletz, a member of the Convention, then of the Directory.

Seul petit bémol sur le bruit car en extérieur malheureusement le restaurateur ne peut ps maîtriser le brouhaha de la circulation sur le boulevard Briviste.
