ESPACE 1000 SOURCES

Situated in a 186-hectare natural area, at the junction of the Monédières and the Millevaches plateau, this ultra-modern departmental sports centre was created on the initiative of Alain Mimoun, Olympic marathon champion, to train high-level athletes in all disciplines and to train them in optimal conditions. The altitude of 750 m, the clean air, the silent forests with soft ground underfoot, allow fitness far from the stress and bustle of big cities. The Espace Mille Sources is the scene, every year in July, of an international meeting that brings together several hundred top athletes.
