NIEL'S MILL
Located four kilometres from Collonges-la-Rouge, this th century water mill is powered by the fountain of Berle. This beautiful heritage was revived thanks to Rémy Valeille and his grandfather Edmond. It has taken 16 years of patient and meticulous work to rehabilitate this jewel of rural heritage: rehabilitation of channels, restoration of walls, restoration of mechanisms. It tells you passionately and gracefully the history of this mill and everything that the flour represents in rural societies of yesteryear. Details on the techniques of its manufacture are supplemented by those concerning walnut oil. For the greatest pleasure of the visitors, the mill is often turned over the time of the visit.
