Friendly restaurant in a farm in Collonges-la-Rouge.
Jean-Jacques and Laurence Salvant, limousine breeders and nut producers, welcome their guests to their farm. The menus are composed solely from farm produce: milk-fed calves from the farm, vegetables from the vegetable garden, walnuts from the walnut groves, poultry, bread. The dishes are cooked in the traditional wood fire. Country soup, asparagus or nettle velouté, pig's trotters in wine sauce, homemade mique and small salty with vegetables from the garden, calf's head in ravigote sauce. Without forgetting the famous pastis périgourdin, a mixture of duck confit, salsify, chicken quenelle, mushrooms, white sauce and all the veal specialities of Limousin. Here, conviviality is guaranteed. From 30 people, you can order a lamb cooked in the oven mechoui style!
