ASSOCIATION « LES AMIS DE CUREMONTE »

Since 1969, the association "Les Amis de Culevé", founded by Jean Lalé in 1969, is mobilizing to restore its letters of nobility to this inherently abandoned heritage at the beginning of the last century. Through its action and the provision of considerable financial support, it has allowed the restoration of the public heritage, three churches, three fountains, the halle, installation of the orientation table, restoration of the former cabin of vines called "la turret" and a space for walkers facing the castles. The Romanesque Church Saint-Hilaire de la Combe, classified as a Historic Monument (MH) since 1970, rich with nineteenth-century painted decorations in the xviiith, was fully restored from 2015 to 2017 and reopened in July 2017 (art exhibitions)
