Church to admire interesting furnishings, various sacerdotal objects and wall paintings
The church lies below the village of Curemonte, in a place called Saint-Genest. Built in the 12th century by Benedictine monks next to a barn that no longer exists, it was the seat of a fully-fledged parish until the French Revolution, when it was attached to Curemonte. Since its restoration, it has become a museum with a religious focus. It features interesting furnishings, a variety of priestly objects and restored 15th-century wall paintings, including a soul-weighing angel and a funerary liter.
