THE VILLAGE

Situated 20 kilometres from Tulle, by borrowing small but pleasant roads, the municipality has fewer than 400 inhabitants gathered around its beautifully restored church, which has recently re-opened beautiful paintings. The great work campaign that has just ended in the planning of the village, the chapel of Nirige, the oven, the Gare train station… makes Espagnac a pleasant village whose people became aware by mass joining the Spanioco association with the aim of tracing the history of the village. In the department, Espagnac has been making a culinary reputation for some time by offering its ham ham in summer, cooked for 12 hours in the village square and mobilising some thirty volunteers.
