Gimel-les-Cascades is renowned for its impressive waterfalls. This picturesque village, built of granite, is home to characterful residences, a mill and the 15th-century Saint-Pardoux church, which holds a treasure: the reliquary shrine of Saint Etienne. Visitors can enjoy a complete change of scenery and a guaranteed sound effect thanks to the sound of the waterfalls. The Gimel-les-Cascades tourist office offers guided tours for groups by appointment, as well as self-guided tours. Parking is free, and coach parking is available nearby. The tourist office is open every day.
