PANORAMIC TOWER OF MONT BESSOU
Tour offering a breathtaking panorama, accessible from the parking lot by two small paths in Meymac.
The tower of Mont Bessou, the highest point in the region with 984 m of altitude, offers a breathtaking panorama: from east to west, the Cantal and Auvergne mountains and the Millevaches plateau. You will have to climb its 188 steps to reach an altitude of almost 1,000 metres. Made of steel and Douglas pine, the tower is accessible from the car park by two small paths, the "mushroom" path or the "granite" path, on which you can breathe in the scent of the essences and humus of the Haute Corrèze. If the snow is there, put on your skis for an invigorating walk. The car park of the tower is also one of the starting points of the circuit "Le toit du Limousin" for experienced hikers
