Church in the heart of the village, with its surprising architecture in Meyssac
A jewel of red sandstone stands in the heart of the village: the church of Saint-Vincent (patron saint of winegrowers), distinguished by its surprising architecture. Originally Romanesque, it was rebuilt after the Hundred Years' War and the Wars of Religion, and features a wide portal, a fortified bell tower with a wooden hourdress in the style of fortified castles, loopholes on the west side and a bretèche on the south flank. The white limestone relief contrasts with the red sandstone used for the shell. Modern stained-glass windows illuminate the interior of the church.
