SITE AND CHAPEL OF THE RAT
The Rat site consists of the Eponymous Chapel and the Rock facing it. Do not hesitate to see in the latter any resemblance with the animal, its name is actually due to the word limousin limousin (rock). The chapel dates back to the end of the th century and was restored in the th century. It is dedicated to Saint-Roch, a healer of skin diseases and plague in particular. Beautiful piece of corrézien heritage, low construction made of beautiful stone stone stones, the chapel was built at 830 meters altitude. It is the subject of a superb promenade, which also allows you to observe the Millevaches wind turbines a little further.
