THE MYSTERY OF REYGADS
Adjacent to the church, the chapel of the old cemetery houses the masterpiece of the statuary limousine. It is a tomb of an unknown artist, of polychrome stone, dating from the siècle century and classified Historic monument. The scene illustrates a tale of the Gospels: under the gaze of the Holy Women, Joseph of Arimathie and Nicomède are preparing to wrap the body of Christ into a shroud before burying. A show "sound and light" exalts the disturbing beauty of a living work. The game of lights emphasizes the expression of faces and actions of the actors of the Mystery. It was designed and directed by Jean-Claude and Christine Monier. The text is read by Jean Piat on the original music of composer Jack Labrunie.
