LES QUATRE DEMOISELLES
Museum in an old women's priory with a bistro for refreshments, a meeting place for nut lovers and history buffs
The Musée Les Quatre Demoiselles in Saillac is a meeting place for nut and history lovers. Located in a former 17th-century priory for women, in the heart of the Noix du Périgord appellation d'origine contrôlée, the museum offers a 45-minute guided tour of the fascinating world of walnuts, followed by a visit to the treasure room. You can also dine in the bistro or store in the boutique. All this in a magnificent village, one of the birthplaces of the famous Marbot walnut, at the foot of the listed church.
