THE APPLE ROAD

In Corrèze, from Allassac to Saint-Aulaire, passing through Voutezac, Vigeois, Lubersac, Troche, Beyssac, Saint-Sornin-Lavolps, Arnac-Pompadour, Beyssenac, Concèze, Lascaux, Chabrignac, Juillac and Objat, this route the remarkable sites of the plateaus. Farms, fruit cooperatives (Perlim and Pompadour), craftsmen in the food, restaurant and hotel sector combine their talents to make this road alive, pleasant, informative and playful. The growers offer a tour of their operation, the Perlim cooperative in Saint-Aulaire shows sorting, sizing and packaging. Conservators compete with talent and imagination to offer new aromas marriages, and five craftsmen present their sweet, savoury products, apple-based alcohol.
