CHURCH OF SAINT PIERRE DES LIENS
Church with a single nave of three bays delimited by double pointed arches
This church, formerly the chapel of the castle, now disappeared from the De Gimel family, dates from the beginning of the 15th century. It houses a single nave with three bays delimited by double pointed arches. The portal is of the Limousin type with arches. The works of art that decorate the interior are from the 17th century. The winged tabernacle was sculpted by Pierre Duhamel inspired by a fresco by Giotto in Assisi which depicts Saint Francis receiving the stigmata. The room was restored in the early 1930s by Germain Val, a local craftsman, to whom we owe the modern structure of the work. The classified paintings representing The Marriage at Cana and The Last Supper are anonymous works.
