A natural area with heather moors, coniferous forests and meadows as far as the eye can see
A natural area to discover nearby. The Massif des Monédières is a granite massif of the Massif Central. Its highest point is the Puy de Monédière (919 m). The Monédières have about thirty of these puys. One appreciates its raw landscapes revealed during day hikes. In the middle, heather moors forming a beautiful purple mantle, coniferous forests and meadows as far as the eye can see. In summer, the Auvergne mountains can be seen in the distance.
