THE BONNOT DE BAY HOTEL
The Bonot family of Bay is one of the large families of the local nobility of the th century that gave the town of Ussel several officers (the seneschal's lieutenants). This noble hotel was the property of Jean Graphic of Bay in the th century. It is now one of the sites of the Ussel museum, so its interior can be admired during its visit. Its furnishings and furnishings are no longer those of the time since the sites present the old professions of life of the past. In a hall dedicated to weavers, we see a rare th century loom. Other rooms feature bugeade - laundry, musical life, traditional furniture like closed bed, and writers from country, troubadours to present day. A whole room is reserved for the painter Espavier born in Ussel in the th century. Tapestries of the th, th and th centuries adorn the walls. A steam sawmill is located outside. In the gardens, Waro Dimitrijevic made six busts of Michel-Ange, Leonardo da Vinci, Dürer and three unknown.
