HOLY CROSS CHURCH
This church was built in the century by one of the Viscounts of Aubusson to protect a fragment of Christ's cross.
Erected in the 13th century by one of the Viscounts of Aubusson to protect a fragment of Christ's cross, this square, Romanesque church underwent major alterations between the 17th and 19th centuries. Its current form consists of a nave with three aisles and no transept. Take time to contemplate its 18th-century tapestries, such as La pêche miraculeuse, its stained-glass windows - notably the one depicting the martyrdom of Saint Barbara, patron saint of weavers - and its fine oak organ, built by Gérald Guillemin in the 1980s.
