LA PEAU DE LA TERRE

Aulon, a small town near Toulouse, is home to the art studio of talented ceramist Anne Grohens. Her website showcases her one-of-a-kind creations in fine ceramics, made entirely by hand. Anne Grohens uses mainly chamotte stoneware to give her pieces a raw look, accentuated by ash glazes that give them a volcanic or rusty-metal feel. Despite their size, these pieces are light and their finesse contrasts with their raw appearance. They are both decorative and suitable for everyday use, and are guaranteed for food use.
