A building with side pavilions, with a hipped roof, registered in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments
The Château de Castillon consists of a main building flanked by two side pavilions. All the façade decoration is concentrated on the doorway. In fact, this is the richest portal decoration known for this period in the Landes region. The high, hipped roof, listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments, is covered with tortoiseshell tiles. In 1886, the château was purchased by Baron Gérard, who built a new wing to the west and designed the formal garden.
