TERRACED GARDENS - VISIT PLANTS AND COLOURS
Gardens to find medieval medicinal plants, color plants to make dyes and inks
The association Plantes et Couleurs has laid out and maintains the terraced garden at the foot of the abbey church. This communal garden is made available by the town hall, as well as the rooms of the former school where the workshops take place. There are medieval medicinal plants, colourful plants for making dyes and inks and the school's vegetable garden. Panels name all the plants, so it is easy to discover this garden on your own. But Marc Bricard, the guardian of the temple, also organizes visits for groups. Workshops for the transformation of plants are open to the public by reservation: making inks, drying herbal teas, making syrups, cosmetics, calligraphy, etc.
