SHRINE OF ST. RAGUNDA
Chapel built on a granite promontory in Budelière, with a medieval altar and a 16th century statue
The chapel of Sainte-Radegonde was built during the 11th and 12th centuries on a granite promontory. If it is isolated today, it was once in the heart of a village. This one was deserted two centuries ago, there is nothing left of it. Inside, the medieval altar and a 16th century statue are moving. "When you hear the storm, run quickly to ring the bell of Sainte-Radegonde and the storm will dissipate", claimed a local belief.
