Former owners of the Estonneries, Mr. and Mrs. Bourdut have opened the Auberge de la Voueize in the heart of Chambon, which is more like a family guesthouse than a hotel. The rooms here are spacious, bright, all equipped with a large bathroom. The atmosphere is a bit old-fashioned. As for the restaurant, the dishes are simple but good. It is a family cooking (for example: onion tartlet, confit with potatoes, cheese, ice cream). And, when the weather is fine, it is pleasant to sit on the terrace. The service is very efficient.

La vraie raison de son refus, la voilà : il pleut, je voyage à vélo. et je ne présente pas assez bien pour cette auberge vieillotte et ringarde (merci Google pour les photos de la chambre vues après). Je repars et trouve bien mieux ailleurs. Un mal pour un bien en quelque sorte.
