THE CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF THE VISITATION
Chapel founded in the 12th century, with a remarkable 16th century triptych in Crocq
Founded in the 12th century, then extensively remodelled in the 14th and 15th centuries, this chapel is worth a look. Its exterior already appeals to the curious with its hexagonal bell pierced with six bays. It would be the former lantern of the dead. Inside, it shelters a remarkable 16th century triptych, classified as a Historic Monument, telling in seven painted wooden panels the life of Saint Eloi. One will also appreciate the 12th century Virgin in polychrome wood, the altar with its two altar tiers, the tabernacle and the architectural altarpiece.
