A natural curiosity of the region, the gorges contrast with the uniformity of the Combrailles plateau. Viewpoint on the Tardes viaduct built by Eiffel in 1885. Dense vegetation of coppices of oak, chestnut, hazel and birch trees. One sees rocky columns very cut out between the foliage. There is a 6-kilometre signposted circuit.
