ASSOCIATION DE SAUVEGARDE DE L'ÉGLISE SAINT-ETIENNE DE FAUX-LA-MONTAGNE
The safeguard Association of the Church Saint-Etienne was created in July 2005. Thanks to the actions initiated since then, restoration works have been carried out and the granite of the building has regained its original pink colour. The Faux church is an interesting testimony to the local architecture of the th century. Several times reworked since then, it carries the arms of the family of Aubusson on one of its keystone keys and also houses an altar of the th century, classified as object for Historical Monuments. To enable the church of St. Etienne to revive and to complement the state aid granted to him, the association uses popular patronage. Every year, to carry out his projects, she also organizes concerts and vide in the church.
