ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH
Parish church located in Féniers, having belonged to the Commandery of the Knights of Malta
Built in the 13th century, this parish church belonged to the Commandery of the Knights of Malta. Ruptured in the 17th century, burnt down in the 19th century, it suffered great damage during its existence. After some rehabilitation work in the mid-19th century, it was partly rebuilt in 1860. It is this version of the monument that can be seen today. Worth seeing: the bas-relief sculptures on the gable of its bell-tower-wall, its nave with a single barrel vaulted nave, its fountains, as well as two polychrome wooden statues from the 18th century, one of Saint Roch, the other of a holy bishop.
