BASE DE LOISIRS DE COURTILLE
Nestling between the town of Guéret and the Chabrières forest, the Courtille leisure area is a privileged area for relaxation, a place appreciated for its setting and its activities: supervised swimming in the summer, water activities (kayaking, pedal boats, sailing, stand-up paddle), fishing... The banks of the lake are also ideal for walking and hiking. They have many leisure facilities: picnic area and children's playground, mini golf, small skate park, rollerblading track, mini karting, etc... It is also a starting point for five mountain bike circuits. Moreover, nearby, enthusiasts can take part in downhill courses. In the same area, paragliding and climbing can be practised. A Triathlon Area labeled by the French Triathlon Federation is also present on the base. It includes a double swimming line, a transition zone with boxes for bikes and bags for the triathletes, and signposted walking and bike/mountain bike routes.
