A jewel of baroque art in Limousin, Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul Church is home to one of Europe's largest altarpieces by its dimensions (14 metres high 12 metres wide). A work in sculpted walnut of two tullistes artists (Duhamel brothers), this altarpiece represents episodes of life in Saint-Pierre. The church, whose construction spread from the th to the th century, has the particularity of having a rectangular steeple totally isolated from the rest. The interior walls are decorated with a broken plot. In the nave there is a enfeu and an array of the th century representing the holy women at the tomb. The wash and water water testify to the central role of the church in the past life of the village.
