Guided tour to discover the history of the mottes castrales dating back to the year 1000 at Saint-Dizier-la-Tour.
With its four feudal mottes dating from the 10th century, the Tour-Saint-Austrille site is a rare testimony to the forms of power that emerged during the High Middle Ages. The trail is highly instructive, with remains from various periods (Gallo-Roman, 10th and 15th centuries).
A medieval festival is held every year on August 14 and 15, with a large market featuring local producers and craftsmen. The church of St-Dizier is open in the afternoon during the season (17th-century paintings).
