Refined rooms with an excellent table d'hôtes in a superb castle in Saint-Hilaire-le-Chateau.
In the middle of a park surrounded by forests, the Château de la Chassagne is a magnificent 15th century mansion overlooking the Thaurion valley, with a shady park of 5 hectares. The interior decoration has kept the period style with a Louis XIII dining room and spiral staircase. The rooms are very refined, and the largest one is entirely upholstered with wood panelling that is accompanied by a period canopy. It also has a vast bathroom with a round bathtub and a jet shower. The table d'hôtes is excellent with its typical recipes of the region.
