CHAMBRES D'HÔTES AU CHÂTEAU DE SAINT-MAIXANT

This 15th century castle is built on a 13 hectare estate only 4 km from Aubusson, a town famous for its tapestries. Inside the residence, you will find models of Aubusson tapestries from the 17th century, they decorate the walls and a small boudoir located on the^4th floor. This incredible property rises over seven floors and houses five guest rooms that can accommodate a total of 12 people. Fitted out with authenticity and comfort, they are ideal for a stay cut off from the world. On site, travellers can have access to a billiard room, weapons room, lounge, reception room, cinema room, heated indoor pool, wellness area (spa, sauna), private chapel and a 1900s style bar where they can enjoy their breakfasts. Outside, the park of the castle is inhabited by fallow deer and peacocks that can be admired closely. It also contains a private pond where it is possible to go canoeing and a heliport from which helicopter tours can be organized.
