FÊTE DE LA POMME

Every year, for 27 editions, the commune of Sainte-Feyre celebrates the apple! On this occasion, an army of volunteers joins forces with the Tourist Office of the Grand Guéret and rolls up its sleeves to peel kilos of fresh apples. They are then slipped into the press to create litres of gourmet fruit juices or served as an accompaniment to the puddings which are on the menu of the traditional meal. In addition to the on-site catering, the event is structured around a garage sale, several stalls of craftsmen and artists, as well as activities such as the demonstration of old-fashioned presses.
