Arranged around the bread oven, in place of the old gardens of the de Vassivière family, the garden of the simple testifies to the art of plants that the women of the Limousin plateau passed on to each other in ancient times. It is made up of seven parts: the women's plants, the "magic" plants, the medicinal plants, the orchard, the vegetable garden, the greenhouse and the aromatic plants. On a simple or guided tour, you will discover the secrets and virtues of these plants that accompanied the daily life of rural communities. Thematic visits of the garden are organized in season, as well as an event: the summer of the simple ones, mid-July.
