Bessines-sur-Gartempe is certainly not Bayonne, and the Bandafolies are not the equivalent of Basque festivals! But as in Bayonne, thousands of festival-goers from all over France flock to Bessines for a festive weekend in July. Every year, a wind of madness blows over the town. For four days, the simple pleasures of a warm and friendly festival, with concerts, parades of all kinds, entertainment in the café terraces, shows, folk dancing, pétanque competitions, orchestras, brass bands, fireworks and local food that it is good to share together.

Superb festival: we forget all our concern for 4 days and one listens to super groups (banda and others). It is the meeting point n°1 Festival in the Limousin!
