This gîte is a superbly renovated former Limousin farmhouse, combining functionality (fully equipped, tiled floor) with old-world charm (exposed stonework, beams). There's an enclosed courtyard on the road side, and a lovely terrace and grassy area to the rear. On the ground floor are the living rooms with open-plan kitchen and wood-burning stove. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms with very good bedding, parquet flooring and light walls. Attentive and available owners. Access to numerous hiking trails and Châteauneuf-la-Forêt lake at 3.5 km (swimming, fishing...).
