THE STONE OF SACRIFICE
Stone used for sacrificing animals, whose bodies were placed in hollows and whose blood flowed from grooves.
Stones with strange shapes always arouse a mystery that the inhabitants are quick to transform into a legend. The rock near the village of Létrade is one of these. It is said that this stone was used to sacrifice animals, whose bodies were placed in the hollows and whose blood flowed from the grooves. Another version, more scientific, would tend to explain the formation of these hollows by erosion. This "Stone of Sacrifice" is located on the road to Létrade but you can also go there from the village for a picnic break!
