LE CIRCUIT DU CHÂTAIGNIER

For over thirty-five years, the association of chestnut and limousins chestnut has been designed to defend and promote the limousine chestnut, its traditions, its gastronomy. It offers a theme circuit that will make you discover the mythical tree of the region, its wood, its fruit and the traditional crafts that live in it. In the programme: Maison du Chestnut and its museum, a workshop of artisan shopping and feuillardier, the commented tour of a conservatory orchard and a gastronomic tasting around a meal prepared with chestnut and local products. In October and November, a workshop was added to peeling chestnuts.
