Towering at an altitude of 498 metres, the unobstructed summit of Puyconnieux offers a privileged view of the surrounding area, including the nearby Château de Montbrun. An orientation table is available to help interpret the panorama. Locals claim that, on a clear day, you can see the Monts d'Auvergne. The ascent, which takes around 30 minutes, starts from the village parking lot and is marked out by 9 stations, each equipped with explanatory panels providing visitors with information.
