TRAIN TOURISTIQUE A VAPEUR

This 2-hour circuit will take you from Eymoutiers to Châteauneuf Bujaleuf by browsing the most spectacular 10 km of the railway from Limoges to Ussel. By using this tourist and historic train, towed by a diesel equipment from the late 50 s, you will discover sites accessible by no other means of transport. The line crosses 7 tunnels and several bridges and viaducts to reach the small train station of Châteauneuf Bujaleuf. This station, located in the countryside, has preserved its entire heritage since its construction in 1880. At the back, the large gradient (the track climbs) will put the locomotive and its driving team to the test. Despite all these efforts, the speed will have difficulty exceeding 40 km/h.
