Restaurant concocting a traditional and generous home cooking with good meats.

In this bistro-style restaurant, customers are warmly welcomed and well served. A pork butcher by trade, Mathieu offers generous, traditional cuisine at very reasonable prices. His pâtés, foie gras, terrines and other starters are excellent, and the rest is no less so. Lovers of fine Limousin meats can enjoy a fine entrecote or pork tenderloin with chanterelle mushroom sauce. The desserts are also the chef's work (even the ice creams). An ideal address for an outing with friends: good humor is part of the decor!

Menu copieux et excellent, serveurs aimables et souriants, patron très accueillant. Dommage qu'il soit obligé de déménager, nous étions à 2mn.... Promis nous ferons quelques km pour y aller.

Mon dernier avis sur la petite chopine à Aixe….je ne sais pas si tout le monde a fait le nécessaire pour garder ce restaurant. Une perte OUI. Client fréquent…jamais déçu. Au service de ses clients. Que demander de mieux ??. Le résultat est là, la fréquentation journalière. Bon courage à ISLE…..maintenant.
