She uses jeweler's enamel, which can only be applied to precious metals such as gold, silver and copper, giving her creations a noble, luxurious allure. Lise Rathonie combines modern technology with traditional know-how to take her craft into more innovative areas. Her creations are inspired by photographs, textures of surrounding elements such as stone, plants and metals, and by architecture. She offers made-to-measure creations and works mainly in Limoges.
