CLINIQUE DE LA POUPÉE
The window is surprising: cut hands, bodies without heads, skulls in pieces… But don't fear anything, it's here dolls have their clinic! For more than 20 years in the Cité district, Jean-Jacques Neerinck, alias JJ, has been repairing dolls and automates that it has been assigned to resurrect them. Very old models, sometimes collection, marbled, and even broken, and past colours. Whether they are in biscuit or celluloid, the damaged heads regain their original shape. After the passage on the table, how can we doubt that these children's toys sometimes have more than a hundred years of age? JJ's workshop is a real museum that revives a whole story by other ancient objects and trinkets.
