A true institution in Limoges since 1932, Le Versailles is a brasserie-restaurant in the spirit of the beautiful Parisian brasserie . We serve every day of the year, late, at noon and in the evening, and always with courtesy. The room service is impeccable. The staff pays attention to the tastes of the regulars. The chef's cooking respects tradition and does not skimp on the quality of the products. Small sausages with muscadet (on the menu for 35 years with as much success as ever), boiled eggs with summer truffles, semi-cooked duck foie gras, poached skate wing with capers, cassolette of veal kidneys flambéed with whisky, sole meunière with hazelnut butter or plain, "cut up in the Russian way" by the head waiter, as well as the rib of beef Limousin meat with the indication of origin. The desserts are exquisite, we fall for the famous imperial-style puffed pancakes. The children have the right to the menu of the Little Prince with, with the choice, the famous small grilled sausages or limousin minced steak, accompanied by home-made French fries or vegetables of season, ice and orange juice.
