EREL CHAUSSURES DE FRANCE
History : not far from the banks of the Vienne river, in the heart of Limoges, the Erel Chaussures de France factory has been producing top-of-the-range footwear since 1947. Taking its name from the initials of its founder René Leriche, Erel is the last factory to perpetuate the tradition of American stitching. This technique gives the product unrivalled flexibility and comfort. Erel models are distributed in over 400 points of sale in France. In 2019, EREL was awarded the French government's Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. The EPV label is awarded to companies with excellent know-how.
Special feature: Erel Chaussures de France produces all its models in the traditional way, in its sole factory. It produces around 200 pairs a day, and can adapt to small production runs of 6 pairs or more.
Products: indoor shoes are mainly leather, in classic or fancy styles, for men (sizes 39 to 48), women (sizes 35 to 42) and children (sizes 20 to 35).
The store: the factory outlet, located in the Limoges factory, offers end-of-series and second-choice models, as well as samples at very reasonable prices.
Factory tour: in the past, the region was the cradle of the French shoe industry, with dozens of factories. Today, you can discover one of the last places where exceptional know-how in the field of indoor footwear is perpetuated.
