The Frairie owes its existence to an old grant of the city, giving right once a year, to the merchants and artisans of butchers holding a shop rue de la Boucherie, to celebrate and trade their products. This has become day of wining, and the opportunity to fill the recovering of ventrèche, andouillettes, galetous, icing, clafoutis, roasted chestnuts, cider and other drinks that help to sink all this. They are professionals in the Halles and Limoges district, but they also see stands from further afield. Every year, this traditional and popular feast causes a real "hungry and thirsty" human tide, joyful and ripailleuse, and in the evening it becomes difficult to go back the street. It is a pity that this street is littered with garbage in the morning! Traffic is prohibited in the entire neighbourhood.
